DAY 1 SAIGON - BEN TRE - TRA VINH

8.00am We depart from your hotel and make our way through Saigon traffic. We arrive in Ben Tre about 10am and board a boat straight away for a nice cruise along the Ham Luong River. We go at easy pace and enjoy several stops en route to discover some traditional know-how of the region. They have been passed from generations to generations for centuries and practices were kept intact.
To end a busy morning and prepare for a slightly late lunch, we hop on bikes and start a leisure ride through forest and orchards. We reach a nice riverside restaurant and get ready to finally taste some typical cuisine of the Mekong delta.
The afternoon is dedicated to waterways exploration. On a sampan along narrow canals first, and then back on the boat to cruise back to the pier. We loop-the-loop in Ben Tre and then get back on the car and drive to Tra Vinh. En route, pause to visit Cave Pagoda and look a huge of storks coming home.
We then continue to drive an half hour and walk on shady paths reaching to traditional homestay. Preparing meal with the host will make your night more meaningful.
DAY 2 TRA VINH - VINH LONG - CAN THO

In the morning, we cycle the back roads to the homeland of Khmer (Cambodian) people in Vietnam where most are devout followers of Theravada Buddhism. Continue riding through huge rice fields, past colourful Khmer temples, and orange-clad monks walking along rural countryside roads. Return the house, take a rest while the host is preparing a tasty lunch. Then have a direct drive to Can Tho. Get a comfort room at local house. It's time to refreshen or spend remaining afternoon to wander house surroundings
Evening, have dinner at house and spend the evening at your leisure time to join the host on daily activities and deep in quiet dark of river countryside
DAY 3 CAN THO - SAI GON

After an early breakfast, we start a boat cruise to head to the bustling Cai Rang floating market – the largest and most colorful in the Mekong delta. Feel free to take photographs, talk or bargain while our boat glides slowly through the market mayhem. There are fantastic
photo opportunities amidst the huge variety of agricultural bounty on sale here. Farming boats big and small trade seasonal fruits and an array of other goods in a chorus of sights and smells that you won’t soon forget.
We then spend some time in the surroundings to visit a local fish market, a noodle workshop. Next, we take a leisurely stroll through the farms and houses of a nearby village to see fragrant tropical fruit orchards, cross over quiet streams on monkey bridges, and pause for a cup of tea with friendly locals.
We then make the short drive back to Can Tho for a relaxing lunch, and we start the drive back to your hotel in Saigon around 5pm.
