Saigon was “Far East Pearl” city in the beginning of the 20th of century. It’s still lovely name in mind of most Saigon people although it’s renamed into the name of the Vietnamese Hero - Ho Chi Minh nowadays. This is either the biggest or most dynamic city in Vietnam!

RECOMMENED WHAT TO BRING:

Wide brim hat, proper shoes, camera, comfortable clothes, rain coat (in rainy season). Should leave your precious belongs at hotel for safety!

7.30am We leave hotel and slowly drive to China town. Tour guide will help you find a seat and taste a cup of coffee while watching daily life running and chatting with friendly locals. Then, the first visit is the Fito Museum, is the first museum of Vietnamese medicine. On display are nearly 3,000 items dating back to the Stone Age. Exhibits include tools used to prepare medicine, knives, mortars and pestles, documents and objects from a traditional pharmacy. Then we visit St. Phanxico Xavier Cathedral (Cha Tam) where former President of South of Vietnam government – Ngo Dinh Nhiem & his brother blessed few hours before assassinated in American War time. Then, take some steps entry Kim Bien wholesale market. There are fantastic photo opportunities amidst the huge variety of chemical, cosmetic powder, phone devices… 

Return to downtown for relaxing lunch.

In the afternoon, visit the War Remnants Museum, the Museum of thematic research, collection, storage, preservation and display of the material, photographs, artifacts on the evidence of the crime and the consequences of the war that the invasion force has caused to Vietnam; visit Reunification Palace (formerly known as Independence Palace) has stayed in the mind of many generations of not only Vietnamese but also foreigners. It is known as the famous historical witness that passed through the two fierce wars against the French and American colonists. It depends on your preference, we may spend some time in the surroundings to take photo of Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office before returning to hotel around 4.30 or 5pm. End of services!
