DAY 1 BAT TRANG CERAMICS VILLAGE - HA NOI OLD CITY

You are picked up at your hotel by the guide at 8:00am and hop on car heading to a suburb village. Pass the dyke road and start driving on a piece of History: the Long Bien bridge. Over the bridge, we head south and quickly get off the main roads. It is a bit over an hour driving along the Red River across vegetable garden and orchards. You will have a chance to witness daily life of Hanoi’s farmers and to learn a bit more about their products and practices. We then arrive in Bat Trang village. This ancient riverside village was slowly swallowed by Hanoi’s expansion but its ancestral art remained: ceramic. We will stroll around to visit workshops where are produced most of the ceramics you may find in Hanoi.

Then we return to the center of Hanoi for relaxing lunch

In afternoon, we have a chance to visit the most respectful place of city – Ba Dinh square. It’s not only the location of the Government building, but also is the memorial place of former Vietnam country’s Hero – Ho Chi Minh President. We’ll not entry his mausoleum, either stand in front or visit His House on Stilt and One Pillar Pagoda with unique architecture. The last stop today is the Temple of Literature where is the first university of Vietnam, was built under the feudal time. After that, we drive back to hotel.
